Maintaining a healthy body is the assertion that all people deserve to have a positive body image, regardless of how society and popular culture view ideal shape, size and appearance. In this digital age, we tend to forget sometimes to think about our body. Do you know that some people put on weight at a certain age and hate it?
A perfect body, a perfect backdrop, a perfect picture and so the list goes on endlessly. It’s a tricky balance between reel life and real life. My suggestion would be to minimize the likes of reel life and focus on being in the present moment truly connected with people. As we expand ourselves and connect more with people, our mind is rejuvenated and we feel a sense of belongingness to either an organization, family or community. Drop expectations and focus in loving yourselves at the present. A change of body structure is not an instant process, it’s a time consuming and on-going process which requires immense dedication, steel discipline and high motivation. A few techniques to unravel the mystery of our life and be in the present moment are
No matter what your weight is, whatever your body structure maybe, just focuses on 1 hour of rigorous physical activity, a 20-minute intense work out followed by a 40 minutes’ walk will make a lot of difference in our moods. Ensure you start the day with “ME” time for exercise. Love yourself and time happens automatically.
We are all so stressed due to the immense pressure we have created for ourselves, as our expectations are very high. The demands of our kids at home, work pressure, branding ourselves in the virtual world and so the list goes on. The best way we can de-stress is by dedicating a few minutes of the day consistently to yoga. Asana is proven techniques to calm the mind and relax the body.
Breadth is a very important aspect of our lives, but lives are mostly taken for granted by everyone. There are several pranayama techniques to adopt and feel the benefits. The body immediately relaxes when we take long breaths.
Our body is what we eat. Food is our primary source of energy. It’s very crucial we are mindful when we eat and not indulge in over- eating or eating unhealthy food.
We have too many desires in our mind, which makes us feel unhappy and leads to stress. Every individual’s capability is different and unique. So we should have a fixed mind on learning and be happy in what we do and achieve in our life. If you follow this, you can be completely happy from the bottom of your heart and maintain the positivity constantly.
Different materials and varieties of clothes are available on the market around the world. You should understand how you are going to look and how it suits you. Do not wear it as if your friends or relatives wear them, if it does not give good appearance where majority mind set is like that.
A huge mirror is needed at every home to analyze and speak to our body twice a day. The first thing what you should do is self-love not speak silly negatively about your image in front of the mirror. Set a sticky note beside your mirror and complement with yourself for the encouragement.
Body-Mind-Soul are all interconnected. In order to feel positivity in the body, the mind also needs to be in a positive state and the soul also cares. Neglecting one aspect will affect our body positivity. We should not independently view body positivity as an independent parameter. There is no one solution that fits all everything. The best way to determine what suits you is through various trial and error methods. A combination of exercise, yoga, mindful eating and pranayama, right clothing, stress- free living and positive affirmations will definitely help us reach our destination of sustained positivity.
