Each Child Is Different

Is comparing your child to another child actually required?
I don’t think so. All children are different. I have seen many mothers comparing, and even having a competition of their child with other children, but why? And if this is happening in the age of 4-6 years old kids, what is the need of this?
I am not saying that competition is wrong but let it be like in a sporty way only, if there is any competition in school then it is healthy, but still do not compare your child to others all the time in every aspect.
Each child has a different capability, capacity, behavior, nature etc.., then how is the comparison is going to be justified or beneficiary for the our children? Some children are goods at sports, while some are good at studies, some are good in communications, some are good in all of them, etc. But if we are comparing our child to others constantly, then we are definitely doing something wrong.
See, if my child is not so good in sports and then if I am comparing him with his friend then I definitely going to ask him to participate in the same competition to compete with other children by pressurizing him to do his best, but if he is not interested in it but he wants to make you happy, he needs to put all efforts in it. But if he is not interested at all he cannot give his 100% in it. If I didn’t compare him with any one and let him do whatever he wants to do, then he will definitely going to perform as per his interest and achieve his goal too.
Even now days it is improving and as virtual schooling going on so I can see how much parents are involving in it and start competition & comparison during live sessions, even though if child doesn’t know the answer parents are helping them and they prove that their children are so intelligent, which is totally wrong, because when the school will open then kids needs to do all studies by their own then they will definitely going to face problem. I never help my child if its all about his capability, if he answered some time wrong so what? Let him learn by himself. If I start helping him just to show off to the teachers that how smart he is, it is going to effect his future, so its better to be wrong sometimes so that the child will be more independent, and be a self learner!
That’s why I am writing this blog, so that all parents can understand that there is no need to be compare your child to others. We all know that all children are different and accordingly they are performing, I am not saying that competition is a wrong thing but let them enjoy their childhood and if there is competition then let them learn to accept failure and learn from it as well.
Even this is not good for kids that in this young age they need to do competition with their friends, let them enjoy their childhood, let them teach be a good and loving human being instead only of a competitor. Our whole life has some kind of competition but do not burden them in this early age, let them be like a child.
