Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful phases of a woman’s life. Pregnancy is the time where your whole body changes so you should take care of your body also. Staying healthy and eating right is most important in this phase of life and also taking care of your skin is important. 

 

1)Stay hydrated and eat the right food. 

Always drink enough water during your pregnancy to stay hydrated and for clear skin. Drinking plenty of water removes toxins from your body. water helps in maintaining the right amount of amniotic fluid in your body. Drink at least 2 litres of water a day. Eating the right food is very important for you and your baby also. So always try to eat the right and healthy food during your pregnancy and it also prevents you from looking dull. 

2)Get adequate sleep

Always try to sleep a minimum of 8 hours each night. Getting adequate sleep helps you to avoid puffy eyes and prevent your skin from looking swallow. Make yourself comfortable when you go to sleep. Keep your posture right. Enough sleep reduces your dark circles and you feel fresh and energetic. 

3)Avoid Stretch marks

Stretch marks are one of the most common skin issues during pregnancy and post-delivery. Most mommies complain about stretch marks after pregnancy. Use a stretch mark cream daily and gently massage your belly during pregnancy to avoid stretch marks. 

4)Skincare

Do not forget your skin during pregnancy. You make sure to use plant-based herbal skin care products. You can use skincare products according to your skin type, but make sure the ingredients do not contain harmful chemicals. Due to pregnancy, you can face pigmentation issues, acne problems and dull skin. So you should use the right skincare products according to your skin concern. Use sunscreen all the time during pregnancy. If your skin is oily or you suffer from acne problems, then use products that contain glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acid, topical erythromycin or products advised by dermatologists. Always remove makeup and moisturise before sleeping. Do pedicure and manicure at home and give relaxation to your feet. 

5)Exercises

Certain exercises are recommended for pregnant women. Do consult your doctor before doing any kind of exercises. Exercises can relieve your body pain and glowing your skin.
