20 Healthy Pregnancy Affirmations

Here are some positive affirmations for your pregnancy journey to navigate the incredible path to motherhood!

Hi there, here are a few affirmations that I repeatedly told myself during both of my pregnancies. They might seem simple and you might think they won't make much of a difference, but it's the state of mind and circumstances that matter in the end.

I agree too! But trust me, saying these aloud to myself every day has changed my state of mind. The best way that worked for me is to repeat them in the early hours, that one hour before everyone wakes up and I shall get going with my day’s work.

  1. I am happy and excited about my pregnancy.
  2. I am looking forward to a calm and beautiful birth.
  3. My body is accepting my baby and my pregnancy will end with a safe birth of a healthy baby.
  4. I choose to enjoy every second of this journey of pregnancy, even on difficult days.
  5. I assertively use my voice to express what I want in need and to say no when I am uncomfortable.
  6. I believe in myself and my nature that I can give birth easily, peacefully, and in comfort.
  7. My baby is in the perfect position to come into the world.
  8. I am ready and safe, beautiful, and everything that my baby would need.
  9. My body was designed to nourish, protect, and grow my baby in my belly.
  10. I am grateful for this powerful experience.
  11. I am strong, courageous, confident, and resilient enough to face this pregnancy.
  12. I educate myself to make the best possible decisions about my pregnancy and my baby's birth.
  13. My baby is developing normally and would be born healthy, whole, and safe on its own time.
  14. I love and approve of myself, and I will welcome, honor, cherish, and embrace the changes of my pregnancy body.
  15. I trust my body will safely guide my baby out of the womb and into my hands.
  16. I will release the discomfort of pregnancy, let go of the worry, tension, and fear of birth, and focus on the joy of meeting my baby.
  17. I cherish the gift of pregnancy.
  18. I feel blessed and privileged to carry my baby inside me.
  19. I protect myself and my baby by allowing only positive thoughts and words throughout pregnancy and childbirth.
  20. My most important job in pregnancy is to simply relax, stay centered, and be balanced.

You might think that we do not have time for these affirmations in our busy life schedule, but these will hardly take a few minutes and are sure to set the mood for the day. Being positive and dealing with a stress-free life is not always possible. We all have our share of worries and other things to sort out. Trying our best as expecting mothers and staying calm whenever required is the done thing.
Apart from repeating these affirmations to myself every day, yoga helped me in keeping my mind calm. Just a few minutes of meditation did wonders for my overall health.
